If so, you can return this within 7 days. I reallyl have no idea what this guitar was worth before the flaws or now after the flaws.
#Harmony airline guitar full
This guitar plays great though and will make someone a nice collector piece and not have to pay the full value price to own this guitar. I have tried to take the best pics possible to show the flaws. I can take more pictures if you would like to see any thing else, just let me know. Although I am disappointed with the flaws, this is no where near a parts guitar. All 3 pickups work and are HOT!! The input was a little touchy, but I tightened the nut a little and it seems to have resolved the issue. The guitar has some super hot pickups and has a straight neck. It cleaned up good, but you can see where the stickers were. Some of this is is just due to the age of the guitar. There is also some "checking" going on in the paint and a few small scuffs. Looks like there was also a "carrol" painted on the top part that was removed at some time, but you can still see where the paint is lighter. This guitar is nice/rare/and plays great, but you can see where the input jack has been repaired :( It looks like someone put a new piece in there, they did not do a bad job, but I definitely wish it was not there. Also someone had painted their name on it that has been removed and there were some stickers on it. The marking on the inside leads me to believe this is a 1960 model. You will find some of these with 2 pickups, but good luck trying to find many more in this model.
I have searched all over the net and have only found 3 others like this with 3 pickups. This is probably one of the rarest guitars I have ever owned. Hello, You are looking at an Airline Stratotone Roy Smeck Guitar.
